Kim Garcia - head coach
Hi CCV Vikings! I am Kim Garcia, and I am thrilled and honored to be your head coach for this 2013 season! Currently, I coach the JV1 girls’ team
at Cherry Creek. I am so fortunate for this new opportunity to be a part of this great CCV team!
My goal this season is to help swimmers discover new areas of personal strengths, encourage continuous growth, and develop a sense of esteem toward
achieving their own goals. I aim to establish a cohesive team unit with a strong sense of work-ethic, pride, sportsmanship, friendship, and (of course) fun!
Though I am new to the team, I am already well aware of the fantastic
reputation CCV maintains. The Vikings are known for their team-spirit, positive energy, and supportive-team-foundation. I am so excited to be a part
of this incredible legacy and to further the CCV tradition of excellence. Hope you all are getting pumped up because it’s going to be an amazingly fun

Melissa Dworkin - assistant coach
Hi CCV! I am Melissa Dworkin and I will be the 6 & Under and Splashers coach this summer. I am currently a senior at Cherry Creek High School where I have been on the JV1 girls swim team and a captain this past year. This will be my third summer at CCV, and my first year coaching. I also teach swim lessons and lifeguard, and I love being in and around a pool! I can’t wait for a great summer! Go Vikings!! |

Emma Koob - assistant coach
Hi CCV! I'm Emma Koob and I will be one of the assistant coaches on the team this summer. I'm finishing up my senior
year at Cherry Creek High School. I've been on the swim team there for four years and was a captain this past year.
I first started swimming for CCV when I was in first grade and I've loved it since! I'm so excited to get to know everyone
on the team this summer! Go Vikings! |

Leah Koob - junior assistant coach
Hey CCV! I'm Lea Koob and I'm so excited to be a junior assistant coach this summer.
I will be a junior at Cherry Creek High School next year where I have swam on the varsity swim team for two years now.
This will be my first year coaching at CCV. I started swimming on CCV when I was eight and I have been on the team for seven years.
This summer, I will also teach lessons and lifeguard at CCV. I can't wait to be part of another amazing season with this team! Go Vikings!

Zach Reasoner - 6 & under coach
Hey CCV! My name is Zach Reasoner and I am
super excited to be the 6 & under coach this season! I am wrapping up my senior year at Cherry Creek High School, where I was on
the swim team all four years. I have spent the last 3 on the varsity and state team. I have also traveled across the country
attending Zone and Sectional meets with my club team. This will be my 5th season competing and my first coaching for the Vikings.

Isabel Schwartz - 8 & under coach
Hi CCV! I’m Isabel Schwartz and I will be one of the 8 & Under coaches this year. I will be a senior at Cherry Creek High School
in the fall and can’t wait! I am a member of Big Sisters, the JV1 swim team and the soccer team. I also play club soccer for
Storm. This will be my 12th summer swimming for CCV and my third summer coaching. I also lifeguard and teach swim lessons at CCV.
I can’t wait for another fun summer at the pool! GO VIKINGS! |

Corey Stepehns - junior assistant coach
Hi CCV! My name is Corey Stephens, and I will be one of the junior
assistant coaches this year! I have swam for the Vikings since I was
eleven, and this will be my fifth year swimming and my first year coaching.
I have also swam competitively year-round for two years with Aquawolves,
and I was on the varsity swim team at Cherry Creek High School, where I
will be a sophomore in the fall. I traveled to sectionals with Aquawolves,
swam the 100y breaststroke on the Creek state team, and placed in 2nd in 2
events at the age-group state meet this spring. I can’t wait to be a part
of another awesome season this summer! Go Vikings! |
